About Sarah

Sarah Schutt is the HMIS Director for the Housing & Homeless Coalition of Central New York, a role she has held for nine years. As the HMIS Lead for the HHC, she oversees a multi-CoC implementation for NY-505 (Cayuga, Onondaga, and Oswego counties) and NY-510 (Ithaca/Tompkins County). Prior to joining HHC, Sarah served as a supervisor for runaway and homeless youth at The Salvation Army Syracuse Area Services. With more than 25 years of experience in human services, she holds a deep passion for working with youth and survivors of domestic violence, particularly meaningful as both a survivor herself and a mother of three children.
