Last Spring, the House Appropriations Committee voted to provide $2.487 billion for McKinney in FY 2017, a $237 million increase. This would allow communities to house 40,000 more homeless people than this year. Contact your representatives and ask them to make ending homelessness a priority.
U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness has been able to help our community, and others, coordinate with federal agencies on a local level to be able to end homelessness among various populations.
